The Merchant's Destiny

Once there was a merchant who lived in a village near a forest road. He was a very hardworking and an honest man. Like every man, he would also give a prosperous and secure life to his wife and children. Taking God's blessings, he starts his daily business routine to earn money for them.

One day, he heard about a fair where he can sell his precious gems which resulted in a huge amount of profit for him. At the end of the day, he packed his things and went back to his home by passing the same forest road. It was dark and deserted. Suddenly, the rain started heavily with thunderstorms and lightning. So, he stopped in between the way for a while , waiting for the rain to stop under a Banyan tree.

Then, he saw some people riding on horses galloping towards him with huge guns tied at their backs, they were thieves.He tried to hide behind the bushes but the thieves challenged him and demanded money from him or he will face death. The merchant got scared and calmly thought how to get rid of them. He somehow managed to fool the thieves by running behind the bushes and tried to escape from there. The thieves then gunned their bullets towards the merchant. Unfortunately, the gun was wet as it was raining and the bullets does not go off merchant's head. So, he galloped like wind from there and reached home safe and sound. In the end, the merchant thanked the almighty God for storm and rain in saving his life.
