There was a nice and generous boy named Timmy. He was a hard-working kid. His parents were very poor and could not afford to buy him nice things. But they taught him great values such as hard work, honesty, and kindness.

Once it was a nice and shiny Sunday morning. Timmy headed out of the home to earn a little money for his family. He went down to the market where he knew there would be loads of people needing help. There, he saw an old man with a basket of apples. He was asking many people if someone could carry his basket of apples for him to his home, but no one was paying any attention to him. Timmy offered to help him. But when Timmy delivered the basket of apples to the old man's house, the old man didn't have money to pay, so he offered Timmy a nice cap. Timmy accepted the cap politely and said "Thanks a lot!" and ran to the market to find work.

While he was running, he heard the old man yelling, "This cap will help you when you will need it!" Timmy could not understand the real meaning behind those words, but knew the cap was valuable and kept it safe.

He went to many shops asking for work. But could not find any. Then suddenly his eyes fell on a signboard outside a bakery that said "We are hiring". He went inside the bakery and talked to the manager for a job. The Manager asked him several questions and decided to give him the job. Timmy got the job of a delivery boy. He was so happy to get the job and that now his family could have a decent life. The manager asked him to start the job the next day.

The next day, he started his job. He got the task of delivering a cake to an old woman who lived in a neighbourhood full of naughty children. Unfortunately, while Timmy was delivering the cake, the children put many nails on the road which punctured his bicycle's wheel. Timmy fell down and the cake's box was smashed on the road. Timmy was miserable. He sat on the old woman's door steps and started crying.

Suddenly Timmy heard a voice. "You helped someone so I will help you. Turn over the cap to find your reward." Timmy did not believe the voice and did not turn over the cap. "I said turn over the cap!" he heard again. He hesitated, then did so. And inside the cap was a brand new cake! Timmy was so very happy! He happily delivered the cake and rushed back to the bakery with his punctured bicycle for his next delivery.

Now, Timmy realised the meaning of old man's words. This cap was magical, and it really did help him! The naughty children noticed the whole incident. They were amazed by what they saw.

After a few days, he had to go in the naughty kids' neighbourhood again. He now had to deliver bakery goods to a young man. The manager warned him that this man was a big customer of bakery and Timmy could get fired if he messed up this delivery. The force of not messing up along with fright of those naughty children made him really nervous.

When Timmy reached in that neighbourhood, the  naughty kids started chasing him. But Timmy was wearing his magical cap, and the cap had a small circular bulb on its top. Suddenly that thing started swirling around and created a small tornado! The naughty kids noticed that and started running in the opposite direction. The little tornado caught them and then carried them all to a mango tree and hung each of them on the branches of it, with no one around to help them. Timmy started laughing loudly at each of the kid's expression, then happily delivered his order. The man was impressed by Timmy's delivery and the manager gave him a promotion.

Naughty kids were miserable that their trick had failed. Someone came later and rescued them. They were furious at the cap which did such a thing to them. They planned revenge by stealing and destroying the cap.

Next day, the naughty kids quietly entered Timmy's house. Timmy and his parents were at the market. Kids found the cap and ran to get it. But the cap started flying and the kids chased it. Suddenly the cap zoomed towards the kids with great speed and tripped the kids. They tumbled over each other and got hurt. When they got up, they were mad and angry.

They started chasing the cap again. But the cap started flying upwards! The kids climbed on the top of each other to get the cap. But then the cap started to tickle the kid at the bottom. The kid at the bottom tried to stand firm, but failed to do so. He fell down with laughter and all the kids on top of him lost balance and fell down!

The kids followed the cap again. The cap led them outside to a pigpen. The naughty children, with determination to catch the cap, entered the pigpen. Then suddenly, the cap zoomed out of the pigpen and locked the latch! The pigs in the pen started chasing the kids and the kids got all muddy. They fell to the ground and pleaded with the cap to let them out.

The cap said, "I will not let you out until you promise that you will never bother innocent people nor will steal something belonging to someone else." The kids promised to do so and the cap let them out of the pig pen.

At the same time, Timmy reached there and was happy to see what the cap had done to the naughty children. He retrieved his cap and sent the children home. The naughty children were miserable and angry with their defeat. But, they did learn their lesson about not bothering innocent people and stealing items. They never bothered anyone again.
