The Light Beyond the Hill

In a small village surrounded by hills, lived a boy named Aarav. His family was poor, and every morning before school, he helped his father carry water from a faraway well. While other children played, Aarav walked with tired feet and heavy thoughts.
Many times, he asked himself, “Why is my life so hard?”

But one thing never left him—his dream to study and change his family’s future.

One day, his teacher noticed Aarav reading under a streetlight late at night. Curious, the teacher asked why he studied there. Aarav smiled and said,
“There is no light at home, so I borrow this one.”
Touched by his determination, the teacher began helping him after school. Aarav studied with focus, failed many times, but never stopped. Years passed. The hills that once felt like walls slowly became stepping stones.

One day, Aarav returned to the village—not as a tired boy, but as a successful man. He installed streetlights on every road, including the one where he once studied.

When someone asked him the secret of his success, he replied:
“I didn’t wait for life to become easy. I became strong enough to walk through it.”
