This story is written by Mir Zada Ahtisham, who lives in Garoora, Bandipora. He was born in 2012, and in 2026 he is studying in Class 10. He wrote this book to inspire and motivate people.

This story is written to share the life of Rashid, a boy who was born with no money but strong dreams. It shows how a poor beginning, silent pain, and patience shape his journey. This book is not only a story, but a message for every person who feels weak because of poverty. Through Rashid’s life, the author wants to show that hope and hard work can change any destiny.

Rashid was not a rich man. He lived in a small house at the edge of the town, where the roads were narrow and the nights were silent. He earned his living by doing small jobs—sometimes carrying goods, sometimes cleaning shops. His income was little, but his heart was steady. While others measured success by money, Rama measured life by direction.

Every day, Rashid walked the same long road to the city. On that road, he noticed how travelers often lost their way, arguing over shortcuts that led nowhere. Rashid never took shortcuts. He believed that the right path, though slow, always led forward. This belief became the navigation of his life.

When hardship came—days without work or nights without enough food—Rashid did not turn bitter. He reminded himself that storms do not change the direction of the stars. He stayed honest in his work, patient in loss, and thankful for small blessings. Truth became his compass, and patience became his anchor.
One evening, a young man who had failed in business sat beside Rashid and asked, “How do you keep going when you have so little?” Rashid replied, “I follow three signs: do what is right, move forward without fear, and never forget why you started.” These words stayed with the young man long after

Years passed, and Rashid's life remained simple. Yet people began to seek his advice. They noticed that although he had little wealth, he never seemed lost. His life showed them that the best navigation is not found in money, status, or speed, but in clarity of purpose and steadiness of heart.
Rashid never became rich, but he became a guide. And his quiet life proved that a person who knows his direction is never truly poor
