The Kind Potter And The Fish

2 mins 230 2 mins 230

Once upon a time, there lived a potter named Kris. He was very kind-hearted. He used to go to the lake to bring some water to make pots from clay. Whenever he used to go to the lake, there was a fish named Tom-tom which used to watch him and she used to get attracted from the sunlight. She always thought, how did the world look outside. When her mother heard this she came to her and said don’t think of going out of the lake, this water is only your life. But Tom-tom didn’t listen to her mom.

She always thinks of how to go outside the water and see the outside world. Many a time she saw the potter puling water out of lake and then suddenly an idea struck her mind. One day when the potter was coming to take water for making pots from the lake, He started pulling water from the lake through his bucket, suddenly Tom-tom jumped into the bucket. The potter slowly took the bucket out of the lake. Then he kept the bucket near the tree. Tom-Tom was very happy that she is outside lake and now can see the world.

Out of joy, Tom-tom jumped out of the bucket and started feeling not able to breathe. She tried hard to breathe but failed. She started to cry. Why did I not listen to my mom and stay in the water? I will not be able to survive without water over here, she cried. Potter heard everything. Potter was very kind-hearted. He kept her in the bucket full of water and slowly he started pouring some water back in the lake through the bucket in which Tom-tom was there.
