The Juicy Fight

On a sunny afternoon before me and my family were going to have apples and papayas, some quarrel happened between both of them. How did it occur and who won in the end? 

A basket full of juicy fruits were kept in the kitchen. Every family member was excited to have them for the summer afternoon. My mother used to give me, my sister and my father fruits every afternoon at 4 so that we could stay healthy. 

The fruit basket was looking fancy because of the pretty covering of golden ribbons. An apple was kept in the fridge and fruits like-Mangoes, oranges, Grapes etc. were kept in the basket. My Mother kept the apple outside till it came to room temperature. ''Hey, you!! Why were you in the fridge?'' The papaya asked the apple. ''Why shall I tell you? Don't interfere with my sleep. The humans are going to eat me, ''replied apple. The papaya was already very angry, the apple was cool and calm as he was in the fridge. ''What do you mean? Can't I do whatever I wish? Remember I am the sweetest fruit in the world. All of my siblings support me! Look at you, Your siblings are green too! What a difference.'' The apple was now much angrier than the papaya. They both kept quarrelling and quarrelling. Finally, they decided to go to the king of fruits- MANGO and decide what to do. ''ok, I understood your conflict. See, you both are wrong as I am the sweetest fruit after all!'' said mango. Both the papaya and apple were annoyed. They decided to go to the 4 brothers, Known as the Bananas. The bananas suggested they tell their bad and good qualities. Whoever will have the best quality will be the tastier between both of you. The battle begin, Pomegranate was the host of the show. Papaya started, ''My good qualities are- I give humans vitamins and minerals. I am the sweetest fruit and I am available in every season. I am very smooth and refreshing.'' ''My good qualities are- I am very juicy, I am available in every season, I help indigestion. I am so popular that humans made a phrase on me- An apple a day keeps a doctor away. I am in Green colour too plus I am very sweet like cherry.'' Again the papaya spoke up,'' My bad quality is that I am very much attractive, you know people hesitate to think about me as I am so sweet.'' ''That was my line!!'' The apple interrupted. Both started quarrelling again but then apple noticed it was at normal room temperature! My mother came and started cutting the two fruits, they both learnt their lesson. 

Moral- We must not be selfish.
