The Horse And The Man

The Horse And The Man

(Stage opens)

Man: What pleasure has been derived as I am all set to enjoy a horse ride?

(A horse approaches the man)

Did you mean enjoyment or did I overhear torment?

Horse: Torment isn't even close to riding a horse with friendly behaviour I will pose.

Horse: Seems like someone is unaware of your plight. Indeed, someone should throw light on our plight.

Man: Whose plight are you referring to? Which point am I missing?

Horse: Torrid torture is endured by us. For the plight, such unjust positive participation is a must.

Man: Your plight is all Greek to me. May I know what's expected from me?

Horse: Forced to carry a cumbersome load. If our roles are reversed, I bet you won't be on the same page.

(Horse continues)

Brutal is the scene, and unfortunately, people have chosen to be serene.

Man: Awareness will work a lot. Little do people have an idea of the hardships endured.

Horse: I am being beaten mercilessly as I appeal helplessly.

Man: Compassionate behaviour is the ultimate treatment.

Horse: Little do you know, supporting such rides is as good as participating in the torment.

Man: Which steps can ensure your security? Can you guide me so that your security gets the foremost priority?

Horse: Bring up the case to the concerned authority's attention.

Man: Whenever you witness any ill-treatment, at the drop of a hat, you should confront and oppose such torment.

Man: Heat up a debate and strike up a conversation to strengthen the laws made for animal protection.

Horse: A horse was intoxicated, drugged, and beaten brutally.

Man: The prevalence of such a scene is farcical, seriously.

Horse: Lives of the animals are precious.

Man: Only cowards can be facetious.

Horse: Against such barbarous treatment.

Man: Let the punishment augment.

Both: With several lives in a pickle due to tourist attraction and pious reasons, raise up and speak up to oppose a critical sight. By standing up in numbers, do a compassionate representation.

STAND UP IN NUMBERS TO CRITICIZE THE TORTURE ENDURED BY HORSES, AND DONKEYS WHO ARE BEATEN MERCILESSLY, AND EVEN FORCED TO SMOKE WEED AT KEDARNATH, UTTARAKHAND, INDIA.
