Finally the rumour turned to be true. Dipto's ears caught the news reader's frantic blaring of words on a new war. The war for drinking water. The war between the powerful but without water and the water rich nation. India has endless supply of water most of which comes from the Himalayas, other Mountain ranges and from the monsoon rain.

Panic-stricken, Dipto, went on listening. The young lady was bringing some journalists keeping eyes on the border and coastal zone of India. They saw some air force planes to roam about in the north west.. Satellite and radar found 7 large war ships proceeding towards Maharashtra.

Dipto came out of his small flat. He headed for the station just to watch what is happening around. He found everybody was talking about the impending war. They were tense but at the same time helpless like a prisoner counting hours for his execution.

As he started for his home, his phone vibrated in the pocket of his shirt. It was Manisha. 'What have you thought?', she asked. 'Nothing', he replied. 'Strange! We've no other option then except being burnt under the firy bomb?' Manisha asked. Dipto cooly replied, 'Yes, we've truly no other option.' Dipto could have persuaded her not to be tense but that would have backfired. Manisha would have said, 'You are an ideal fool to live in a fool's paradise'. Thinking all this he did not say anything of hope. But he was restlessly thinking what he could do for his country.

At night he could not sleep well. What will happen to me if enemy ultimately attacks?' At the end of the night another sunny day, like all other ordinary days came. Time doesn't wite history, rulers write. Few persons desire from the seat becomes synonymous with people's desire.

Everywhere he finds haste among the people. Suddenly his senior calls him. He receives the call. Mr Bhargav calls him urgently to accompany him to Delhi. Without taking any other things he goes to the airport. He meets Mr Bhargav. After an hour they reach Delhi. They take a cab and reach the Prime Minister's urgent meeting. Around 100 top ranking ministers and officers were there. The Prime Minister said, 'Gentlemen, at this grave crisis how can we stop war?' Some suggested to destroy the enemy with nuke. Some said to keep our water water sources under high security. Finally the Prime Minister turned to Mr Bhargav. He showed Dipto. Dipto stood and said, 'We'll stop them by Himalya Sea'. The PM smiled and said 'That's a really great idea.'

During his return journey Manisha asked him 'Why have the enemy gone back and agreed to amicable solution?' 'Because, the PM has warned them we shall turn the whole Himalayas into permanent supply of saline water through a chemical blast which will go on for ever. And that deterred them. Anyway, let's tie our knot, because I may not stop another war'. 'In a ringing voice Manisha said,' You are a smart soldier indeed. 'Both of them laughed in a burst.
