The Hidden Superhero

Every student in their life has once written an essay on the topic - "If I were a Superhero". But ever thought on it actually in the real world. We usually think Superheroes are the best and lucky enough. And why not? After all, they have so many superpowers. On the other hand, also we have our superhero in so many forms. Like for some daughters, their dads are their superheroes or their brothers and for sons their mothers or sister. Or it could be anyone around us. But have you ever imagined a superhero within you? We find things in the surroundings the whole life but never check what's there inside us. Inside our own soul. Yes!!! Superhero just within you and I realised that day.

16th November, just a normal day for me but who knew there was so much action coming on my way. As usual, on my way to the office, I was when I saw this group of people teasing a girl. But why? Just cause she wore some short clothes? But that's her choice and her life, isn't it? I couldn't handle my calm and went to them. Somehow I managed her to save from that group. They started to tease us both and showed us their weapons. They made sure that we get scared. And that's what we do right? It's here when we make a mistake. We just get scared forgetting the superhero within us. I quitely took out pepper spray from the bag. Yes!! I kept it for my safety.

This world you know is full of such animal minds. So I took it out and sprayed. Just hold the girl's hand and ran from there. Somehow we managed to escape from the group. Now we had reached far away to a safe place. I took the girl to my home. I made her calm and gave her a glass of water. She thanked me and in turn I told her never to get scared of such people. After she became normal she started to depart. Before leaving my house she told me a thing due to which I'm narrating this story. She told me..."From today, You are my superhero". 

Now that made me think...think what actually happened. Out of all only I could actually see her being teased? Why not others helped her? Why was I the only person to be so brave? Is the world so coward? Or no one actually bothers unless the thing is on themselves? That's crazyyy!! Alot of stuff just rushed in my head. But that day I actually found my superhero. Every moment I wished and thought "What if...I was a superhero". But that day I actually felt that Yes!! I AM A SUPERHERO.

And everyone is too. They just need to find it. Not outside but within themselves. THE HIDDEN SUPERHERO within their souls.
