The Hardworking Confectioner

Long-time ago in a town there lived Mandy a confectioner, whose candies and cakes were famous all over town especially her strawberry shortcake and chocolate cupcakes. Mandy would open her bakery very early and sell only the freshest cakes made with the best ingredients. If any cakes were left at the end of the day. She would distribute them free of cost to children and make fresh ones. The next day people would throng to her little confectioner shop.

One day one lady came with her son. Her son wants only Mandy's cakes for his birthday. Right opposite her shop was Barney's sweet shop. He was so lazy. He would see customers lining up for Mandy's cakes and feel jealous. He thought that if Mandy's business and continue like this no one will come to his shop. So Barney thought of a scheme to get more customers to come to his shop. Some customers From Mandy's shop went to Barney's shop. But soon they went back to Mandy. But the taste of Barney's cupcakes is not good as Mandy's and he has priced them so low and also it is not fresh enough.

Then, one day a nobleman came to Mandy's shop. He wanted chocolate cupcakes for his son's birthday party. He told all the things about his birthday. He said that the party is on Saturday. Three days from now. He wanted hundred cakes for his son's birthday. And then she will have the cakes ready and sent to him by 3o' clock on Saturday. Mandy worked hard and prepared hundred cupcakes. On the other hand, Barney heard about massive orders. He decided to spoil it. He thought if the nobleman at the King's court like her cakes, Nobody will ever come to his bakery.

So, that night when mandy had got all the cakes ready. She shall go to the nobleman's house in the morning. On that night, he sends all the mice. It ate all the cakes. The next morning when Mandy came to her shop. She was shocked to see her cakes eaten by mice. She does not know what to do. She should send cakes by three hours. She was really worried. Just then Barney got there. Then she identified that he stole all the cakes.

Now Maney was very angry. She would not let Barney get away from this. She suddenly got an idea. She quickly went to the kitchen of her shop. Three hours later Mandy delivered a cake like no one had seen before. And now Mandy was famous not only for her cupcakes but also for the beauty of her cakes and she started receiving even more orders than before.

In a helpless situation, Mandy did not lose her calm and using a bit of creativity. She changed it to emerge even more successful than before!
