THE FARMER AND THE HORSE

Once there was a farmer named Rohit. He had a horse whom he loved his horse very much. The horse helped the farmer earn money. It was its pride and joy. One day the horse ran away. Everybody in the village heard about it. They came running to the farmer and commented “Your favourite horse ran away? That is so bad” The farmer replied to them “Um maybe.” The very next day the horse came back, but not only the horse came back, the horse came back with three wild horses. Everybody in the village heard about it. They came running to the farmer. And commented “Oh we heard, now you have four horses? What a good luck you have.” The farmer looked up at them and replied “um maybe”.

After a few days the farmer’s son was trying to tame one of the wild horses. The wild horse kicked him of his back he fell down and broke his leg. Everybody in the village heard about it they came running to the farmer and commented, “Oh that stupid horse broke your son’s leg that is so bad.” Just after they went the military had come and said, that we can’t draft your son for the war, because his one leg is broken. So they left. Everybody in the village heard about it. They came to the farmer and commented, “Your son was not drafted for the war but our son’s were drafted for the war, what a good luck your son has”. The last time he looked up and replied “um maybe”.

MORAL OF THE STORY IS: It is very easy to develop negative thoughts but we should always try and think that everything that happens with us is planned by God and for our own development.
