This was the time of Christmas and it was a cold and freezing night. Trees were loaded with snow and the branches were bent. Neither a bird nor an insect was singing and the cold heavy wind was blowing over the country. As it was late night, people were on their beds sleeping soundly and snoring with a thick woolly covering. I was on my bed peeping out from a narrow window in my room. My mind was requesting me to sleep and my heart was curious to see the pleasant atmosphere created by the nature. I was between the devil and the deep sea. I wanted to see the surrounding and at the same time I want to take a rest for my next beautiful day.

Suddenly, I woke up and I was surprised after I saw my garden from the adjacent window from my bed. I spotted something shocking and it was the first experience in my life. The garden was grassy and full of the colorful petals and the tiny colourful - winged insects were sucking the sweet juice with their long tongue fluttering hither and tither with life and laughter noding heads with joy.  Trees were dancing in a pleasant mood and talking with the wind blowing around and the sun was brightly shining in the sky full of the flock of birds and dragonflies. But, I saw something strange there that first it was winter and now it's spring ! And the trees and shrubs were talking like a human.

I prayed to God, "O Lord! I wish I was small. " And suddenly the trees and the butterflies became huge. When I looked around I got to know that not the things around me were big I was small. My wish was fulfilled. I was very happy to be small. I found a big piece of pancake lying on the floor just beside my luxurious bed. I stretched my hand to grab it and ate it with great fun. I got to know the pleasures of an ant. After, I rested there as my stomach was swelled up like a ball. One ant reached there sensing the sweet smell of the pancake. I was looking like an ant's brother. "Dear, why are you so tiny? What happened to you? And how it happened? "said the ant. Please do tell me I am getting curious to know about it. "I replied," I also don't know whether it's the magic of the God or anything else. Just I wished and I became tiny. " "I don't think it's good to be small. You may face many difficulties in your way. I know very well. " the ant said. " Ha.. I don't think so, it's fun to be small. "I said noding my head with disappointment and moved on. I came across a big wall and tried to cross it and with great courage, I crossed it. I remembered the words of any but this was very small obstacle. Then I met a baby plant which was crushed and trodden black as someone had stepped on it.

There was a bit life remaining in it. She said with her cracking sound and tears in her ears like an old lady,  "I was hearing the conversation between you and the ant. The ant was not wrong anyone can crush you like me if you are small". But, I closed my ears with my finger and moved on. Then, I caught a sight of a big shadow of a leg which was of my mother. She was handed with a broom and was about to step on me but, I ran with my whole and sole energy. I escaped and then I realized that it's not good to be small. I reached in the garden and roamed for sometime. I went in the circle made by the pots through a small gap my mother kept another pot and the only way through which I could come out was blocked. Then, I saw an eagle moving round in the sky. It spotted me. It was coming nearer and nearer and I became very afraid and anxious there was no way to escape and the eagle reached near me, opened its yellow sharp beak to eat me. I shouted for help "help, help. " None was there who can hear and I opened my eyes and I was in my bedroom on my bed.  I felt a great sense of relief and oh! Ito was just a dream. But a dream also taught me a lot.. .
