The Door of Hell is Opened

 Good morning good people, my name is Calypso Louis. I am from San Jose and I am telling you the story of my life. I am a normal kid and do normal things like try to get extra credit...talk about hot guys and try to get into cheerleading for my college applications. Let me warn you...if you are scared of vampires, werewolves along with witches...dear reader, please stop reading right away. We are going into the darkest realms of the Earth. So put on your vervain filled bracelet... wolfsbane locket around your neck and carry a large white oak stake in your pocket to protect you from the vampires and werewolves in New Orleans. Both my parents died in a car crash on Whickery Bridge about 2 weeks back. Right now I live with my aunt Marriane and my uncle Coco. They have no kids and decided to take care of my brother Caleb and I. Little did we know that it would change our lives forever.

Today a new boy from Alaska called Magnus came over to our class and sat down in our history class 2 benches away from me. Our history teacher Cole Harrison saw Magnus and decided to test him

He asked several questions and Magnus answered pretty fast. the questions were" when the American Civil War had taken place?" Magnus replied-"1861 to 1865". Cole asked again..." when the Dutch-Scilly War took place?" Magnus replied"30 March 1651 – 17 April 1986". Again Cole questioned," how long it took for the shortest war to get over and what it was called?"

Magnus answered "Anglo-Zanzibar War...it lasted only 38 to 40 minutes long" I am good with dates," said Magnus in a proud voice.

         I returned home thinking about Magnus when my aunt Marriane called..she said in a scared tone"Calypso is that you???"... I replied "yes aunt Marriane...are you okay? you seem scared". She replied " no I am not okay...I NEED YOU TO FIND ME?" and the call was cut

I immediately grabbed Caleb and took him home. when I reached I called out"Aunt Marriane...Uncle Coco...where are you?This is not funny!!"

Caleb looked at me and said, "stop shouting and what is wrong with you...you dragged me out of class."

Suddenly my phone made a DING sound and I opened my phone to look at a location. it was called the Diner grill in the small town of Pylan. I grabbed my jacket and my purse and ran outside my house telling Caleb to wait. I called a cab and reached Pylan.

This place looked great at first sight. Curving around the harbor with a long esplanade lined with palm trees. At the sidewalk cafes, European teenagers were hanging around...speaking different languages and enjoying the sunny afternoon. The air smelled of grilled meat and fresh-cut flowers.

    beyond this place, the city was a hodgepodge of medieval castle towers, Roman walls, limestone townhouses with red-tiled roofs and modern office buildings crammed up together. In the distance, grey-green hills marched towards a mountain ridge.

When I reached the mystic fall grill I was amazed ...the outer wall was made up of pink granite shell with crumbling columns and arched windows open to the sky, but it was mainly intact, a quarter of a mile long and 70 to 80 feet tall, dwarfing the modern shops and houses that huddled beneath it. I walked inside and saw aunt Marriane and uncle Coco standing in the shadows...I immediately tried running towards them when I hit an invisible wall in front of them and fell backward. I heard laughter from behind me and it was Magnus!!! He was standing at the doorway and couldn't enter at all. I was shocked so I screamed at Aunt Marriane "What is this?? I can't enter at all...it is like an invisible wall here"

       Again Magnus started to laugh out loud and this time when I looked back he was holding Caleb by the shirt and said: "INVITE ME INSIDE AND I WILL RELEASE POOR CALEB ". I had no idea what he was saying but I knew that Caleb and my uncle and aunt were in danger and I didn't know what to do so I looked at my uncle for help and he said "You have to invite him in!!! HE IS A VAMPIRE!!!!. I could not believe a word that he said but I knew that this was the only way to save them so I said in my clearest voice "I Calypso Louis permit you to enter this grill".

Magnus laughed so wickedly it was scary. I looked back at my aunt and uncle and they had horrified looks. By the blink of my eye, Magnus ran straight at uncle and he suddenly flew out in front of the wide windows and started to scream. I looked at my Uncle and saw that he was burning ... I screamed, "WHAT IS HAPPENING????"

Magnus replied"well darling, you should know that your aunt and uncle are both VAMPIRES!! I, on the other hand, am an Original Vampire...nothing can kill me except one tree which I burned to the ground. my mother was a witch...the Original Witch.we lived in a colony of werewolves...even though we were humans. My beloved brother Nickolas paid the price when we went to see the werewolf transformation on a full moon...She was so afraid that her other children would get hurt she asked the witches coven to help her make her kids IMMORTAL. The witches did not agree to this as there would be an imbalance in nature...so my mother took matters into her own hands knowing that there would be consequences. My mother laced our red wine with the blood of an innocent girl named Karla and then killed us all. Later on, we got up a few hours later with a craving for blood...so we started to kill people and drink their blood. As for the consequences, the sun became our enemy and if even a ray of light touched us, we would get burned. There is a plant called Vervain that burned us if touched and if mortals drank vervain it would prevent compulsion from vampires."

        I looked horrified and asked him"what do you want with my family??". Magnus replied"I want to become a hybrid...as you see my mother had an affair with one of those werewolves and I am part werewolf...but since I turned into a vampire my werewolf side died along with my mundane side. I WANT TO BECOME THE WORLDS VERY FIRST HYBRID. I WANT VAMPIRES...WITCHES...AND WEREWOLVES TO FEAR ME and the only way to do that is to kill 3 of the Louis family as people say "the Louis family have pure blood"

        Right there he pulled out uncle Coco's heart and with the speed of lightning pulled out aunt Marriane's heart and snapped Caleb's head. Before my mind could process it Magnus came and bit my neck with blood flowing out and left me there to die

       I woke up to see Magnus in full transformation of a werewolf and my head throbbed and the light hurt my eyes and everything was so loud. that's when Magnus shouted through his transformation "You are my very hybrid...YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!!!!"
