Once upon a time there was a poor man, but he was very clever. Once the poor man passed a grand restaurant. The smell of the delicious food was coming till outside. There was a manger who was taking orders of the people. The poor man then stood there and started smelling the delicious food, he thought, “Even though I don’t have enough money to buy food from a grand restaurant and fill my stomach, I can fill my stomach by smelling the food.”

The manager saw this and came out angrily and told the poor manager, “You can’t smell the food from outside, if you want to eat it, you have to come inside, pay and then eat.” The poor man told the manager, “Sorry, please forgive me for smelling your delicious food, I don’t have enough money to pay at a grand restaurant, I will go away from here.” The manager was very greedy, he thought, “I can take money from him for selling the delicious food, this way I could earn more money.” He told the poor man, “Stop, come back you have to pay me some money for smelling the delicious food.” The poor man replied, “I want that money to fill my stomach and smelling the food doesn’t mean eating the food, so why should I pay.” The manager told, “ No, you have to pay me money.” The poor man thought for a minute or two and got an idea. He jingled the coins in the pocket and told, “when we eat food, we have to pay, but when I smelled and filled my stomach, you hear the jingle of the coins and fill your pocket with money.” He told this and went away.
