The African Chant

There were three best friends Jack, John, Tom. Jack had a brother Jim. Jack wanted to become a poet but his poems were very boring. One day, at Tom's home Jack was writing a poem and Tom and John were playing. At that time Jim entered and sat beside Jack. He had a paper in his hand. He said "Jack take this paper and read aloud what is written in it. Sara gave me this. It's just an African Chant." Jack read it aloud. It sounded very weird. It said "HIDIMBA HIDIMBO MALTY KALTY." Everyone who was there laughed including Jack.

Then Jim said everyone that now whatever Jack will happen. For example, if he says "Jim become a donkey, then I will really become a donkey." Everyone laughed again. John said Jack to try it once. Jack repeated the same sentence 'Jim become a donkey' but nothing happened. Jack left the room laughing. Then Jim saw that something is written at the bottom of the paper. It was written that the chant would activate after 5 hours. He said John and Tom about it. They had spread it in almost the whole building. Jack went home. As he was going to say something to his mother, she said "Stop. John said me that whatever you say will really happen. Jack then said that if it's true then three Mrs. Hemsworth (their irritating neighbour) should enter from this door.

After a minute, Mrs. Hemsworth entered the room. There were two more people behind her but they could not see there faces. And then they were surprised to see three Mrs. Hemsworth. She irritated them so much that Jack had to say 'All Mrs. Hemsworth disappear' Now Jack believed that the AFRICAN CHANT worked. He went to John's house to say about what happened and Tom entered the room laughing. He said that Jim became a donkey and he was running here and there. Sara entered the room. She gave Jack a paper an said that read it and you will become normal again. Jack was so happy and read it.

To try that he was normal again he said ' there should be one kg gold in front of him, and nothing happened. Then John remembered that Jim was still a donkey an all started laughing.
