Residing in a village with no electricity at that time, only way of entertainment for whole villagers was a black and white TV for which we have to pay 1 rupee for each movie you watch where people of later teenage(adolescence) and married used to go.

As a child, studying in class 4 of the village primary school aged approx 9 years, we were not allowed to go to watch the movies because of typical Indian parents thinking that movies will deviate us from the realistic path.

But as a childish nature of doing the things which we were forbidden to do so, I also did the same.

Belonging from a typical Indian countryside area with a joint family, where grandfather is the boss and mom is the best option in the house for emotional attack. One day, after completing the boring necessitated school hours, got to know that neither grandpa nor dad is at home and came to know from the school senior that there is a nice movie to be shown. The best thing is that I have no knowledge of what a nice movie is. Started the emotional attack on mom, and finally managed to get a rupee (a valuable amount at that time for a farmer family background).

I forget what that movie was or who was the actor, I remember nothing of that movie but I still remember that happy feeling after watching the movie and that scolding from dad after coming back home.

Years passed, moved to the city, watched a lot of movies in the theater, but that feeling was something which is not there in watching the movies in cinema theater.
