Sunrise
The clouds parted, making way for the sun and its rays to fall. The city basking in breathtakingly beautiful hues of yellow and orange.
Everything was peaceful in the early hours of the morning, birds chirping in tune, like a jogger whistling as he passed by. Newspapers were being collected, shops were being opened for business, the hum of the city soothing.
Only in the early hours of sunrise would such peace be obtained in a bustling city such as New york.
A Saturday morning was the ideal day. Some relaxed, some completed the essay which was due next week, some slept in and some had gotten into their dream college.
On the ground Sitting on his roof was Matthew Thompson watching the sunrise in awe, people would assume you'd get tired of watching the sunrise every day, him being a morning person, but the way the colors danced around in the sky, creating a golden glow to befall the bustling city, never failed to entrance Matthew.
The sunrise was truly a magnificent view from the tall buildings of New York.
