Stronger Than Fate

An Egyptian Prince was born. The fairy who came to bless him at birth looked at him and started crying. "Poor child, "she said. "It's his fate to die by a serpent, dog or a cocodile. "Afraid, the king and queen built a castle for the prince to live in on top of a mountain. The castle was always guarded and he was not allowed to leave.

One day, however, he wanted to see the world. His parents agreed to let him go, provided he took a convoy of servants along with him. On his travels, he met a beautiful princess and they fell in love with each other, "I love you, but we cannot get than fate, "the princess said and they got married.

One day, while they were asleep, the princess heard a noise. She woke up to see a serpent in the corner of the room. She remembered that serpents love milk. She kept a bowl of milk out. While the serpent was lapping up the milk, she took a stick and killed it. That is how the princess proved that love, is in fact, stronger than fate.
