Shameless Leona

Leona works as a secretary to a very successful businessman. Leona has been working for more than 20 years with this guy. It was probably her first job that she landed and stuck to it. Leona is a mother of one, and her husband, as she would describe is a good for nothing, a big time failure. 

Leona never had a fulfilling childhood, satisfying marriage, or a good boss to begin with. Her boss was a maniac and a toxic person who would gaslight people into doing stuff they are uncomfortable with. Over the years working with him, Leona generated a bond with her boss. He shaped her personality and turned her into him. It is very hard to say, if he changed her or if she was always like him deep down inside and he was just a channel to let herself out. 

Once they were comfortable with each other, they started conning and gas-lighting people in their organization. They loved the power dynamics of having someone work under them. They would hire people for less salary and make them work odd hours and always pick out their mistakes and tell them that they still have a lot to learn. They would break the spirit of an individual and make them feel they are worthless. The truth was, both Leona and her boss could never amount to anything, they were always a failure in their own eyes. They wanted to hurt others because they were hurt inside. They couldn't live without abusing people on daily basis.

Leona's husband always tried innovative ideas to start up a business and he has always faced failure. Leona was ashamed of her husband. Her sex life was also miserable because her husband couldn't perform because of anxiety. The anxiety has been caused by her constant verbal emasculation on daily basis. She would insult him in front of his parents, kids, relatives, guests. Everyone in the church knew who wears the pants in their house. Leona's husband had to bear all the insults because she was the one who was earning. He slowly lost his identity and everyone just knew him as "Leona's husband". Leona was a bit proud of it, as it was some sort of accomplishment. She would even admire and appreciate other men in front of him whenever there is a get-together. She would congratulate them on their promotion and success and discuss work-life in front of him, just so that she could see his face. Leona never managed to cheat on him sexually, because Leona was not attractive. She was good looking but her energy made her look like an old witch. 

Leona is secretly happy about her boss's failed marriage. She loves to think that she is not alone. Leona is just a sad pathetic excuse for a human being. Leona likes to celebrate Christmas and bring cake to the office and wish everyone. She doesn't like anyone who is upset during Christmas time. You can see her fake smile and jolly good nature around that time. 

You would find people like Leona often in your life. These are very toxic and dangerous people, they have nothing to lose and they will basically make sure you also don't have anything. So, the best way to deal with toxic people is to cut them off completely from your life.
