The true mother

Once upon a time there was a king named Jai Singh. He was a great ruller and ruled the kingdom of Vijaygad. He was very caring, kind ,brave ruller. His justice was never wrong. 

One day when while he was looking out of the window from his room he felt asleep. And he had a dream in which goddess Saraswati asked him ," My child ...ask a wish I will complete your one wish .." 

He said ," I want my people to always be happy and give me blessing of always taking a correct decision. " 

"You will be blessed my child " said the goddess. 

Suddenly he woke up. 

The next morning when he went to the royal court there was a strange case of mothers named Rupa and Devika. 

Both of them were arguing for a baby and both were saying that the baby is theirs. 

Devika said, " My lord Rupa is lying, she had a miscarriage and she lost her child I am the real mother of this child " 

" No ,she is lying my lord..I am the real mother ." Said Rupa .Both of them were arguing .

All people as well as the king was confused about what to do. After thinking for some time the king said," I have a answer for this situation, I will cut the baby in two parts and both of you will get each part...!!

All the courtiers and both mothers were shocked at the decision. 

King took out his sword and was about to cut the baby.. suddenly there was a shout 

Devika said, " No ,my lord don't do that...I was lying Rupa is the real mother of this child. " 

King understood who was the real mother of the child, he ordered soldiers to take Rupa to prison for lying to the royal court. 

Everyone was again shocked. 

Rupa said, " My lord what are you saying, just now Devika accepted that she was lying then why are you imprisoning me?? "

King said," A Mother cannot see her child get hurt ..and since Devika was real mother of the child she tried to save the child and sacrificed herself for imprisonment. You were just watching like a statue ." 

Devika said, " Thank you my lord you have done justice and my child is with me again...😊" 

This was a story of a king who always was correct and straight forward in justice...

This was a story of a mother who got her life back...

The only one thing that makes mother great, is her SACRIFICE ...
