Rocky and Smarty

Rocky is a shiny red landline, he loves himself and is very proud of himself, he keeps bragging about himself, telling he is the man's best creation, he tells about himself that he is cool and the one who cannot afford him is very poor.

One day while he was ringing and as usual busy in calls, he got a call where her owner Mrs.Scarlet was speaking about some new and amazing gift.

Rocky thought any new gadgets or whatever comes home, he would always be the best and nobody can ever compete.

Just then Mrs.Scarlet's husband entered the house with a gift bag and they unwrapped it together and Rocky thought it would be some gold jewellery but it was a weird looking rectangle thing, Rocky didn't bother unless that Black thing was ringing like him but with a classy tune much better than his, Rocky was surprised and curious to know what it would be but Mrs.Scarlet wasn't ready to keep it, she was exploring it.

At night they placed that next to Rocky and went to sleep, the thing started to speak and introduce himself to Rocky telling "Hello, I'm smarty, a smartphone and nice to meet you", Rocky didn't understand what a smartphone means and introduced himself telling "Hello...I'm Rocky and I'm the best creation of human a landline", before Rocky could continue, Smarty interrupted telling "Oh, Namaste dadaji or par-dadaji", Rocky couldn't bear this and said "How dare you insult me by such names I'm the best creation not your dadaji", Smarty was serious now and kept quiet as if he was respecting Rocky being his ancestor.

Rocky said "I can make people converse from very far, they can talk with each other from anywhere around d the globe, what do you do?", Smarty hesitated but Rocky insisted to tell and said"Dont worry I know you aren't so good as me, but please tell me what do you do? And please be Frank!",.

Smarty said"Okay, so I'm a smartphone who makes people talk with each other, message each other, play games, learn something new and watch videos. Oh!Sorry..."Rocky stopped hom and said"Yeah!I knew would tell Sorry! I told you not to lie, so now promise me on your ancestors and tell me the truth about you...I know you can't do all these, so be Frank!".

Smarty didn't understand what Rocky meant and said "okay! I promise and yes I don't do those but along with those I also make people talk with each other face to face, that's what I wanted to add and so I said sorry". Rocky was surpised as if lightning struck him dead. He couldn't believe what had happened to him. Slowly Mrs.Scarlet was used to Smartphone and they bid goodbye to Rocky the landline.
