Rewriting Of The State Into UT

Article 370 of the constitution of India gives special status to the region of Jammu and Kashmir. The Modi government 2.0 made this happened which was a dream in the eyes. Even article 35A provided the special right to the J&K legislature to define the permanent residents of the state and their special rights.

Earliest of the passing of this bill in the parliament when the whole India had general elections in five years they had their general elections in six years, but now they will also have their general election in five years.

If a woman married a man from other then a state of J&K then she would lose her rights and citizenship, but now this has been revoked.

They had dual citizenship; the Indian and then the permanent resident of J&K: but now they have only one that is only Indian.

They had their own flag, but now the Indian tiranga will fly even in J&K.

President didn't have any right of imposing article 356 that is Emergency in states, but now the president can impose on J&K too.

People other than permanent residents didn't have any right to buying any kind of land or plot, but now they have the whole right to do so.

There are so many other things which brought changes along with the passing of this bill and the bill was passed with the great majority and finally, the dream of many people became reality.

The number of states has fallen down to 28 from 29 and union territories have risen from 7 to 9.

The 2 union territories are the 2 parts of the state that is J&K with the legislature and ladakh without legislature.

Both are highly visited during vacations and moreover nature and its creator both are appreciated.

Now we can proudly say that the INDIA is changing.
