Reduce, Recycle And Reuse

A story that comes to my mind inspired by real life. A story of recycling not exactly a fairy tale but it's original! Much before the much publicized Swach Bharat started I had a mini-movement at home.

My school's old books were given away to my cousin's for reuse. My old clothes to our maid's children or to be reused as kitchen rags. My father would always insist to use every last inch of the pencil. Old toys to be donated. Stale food to be given away to the birds. Old plastic bags to be used for trash instead of buying new ones.

Used water to be reused again for toilet etc., broken soap pieces to be used for hand-wash. And old newspapers sold off to the nearby scrap shop.
