RAKSHA BANDHAN
RAKSHA BANDHAN
A Hindu festival celebrated to embrace the brother-sister bond and promising to care, protect, love and respect each other for lifetime. We celebrate this day by tying a ‘rakhi’ on our brother’s wrist promising to protect, respect him for lifetime and receiving a gift (token of love, respect) from him. This day is enjoyed with special savouries and sweets.
This festival is important for every brother-sister. But what about those who cannot celebrate this festival? Every one wants to celebrate this festival yet our Army Soliders, Doctors and many more such people happily choose to stay away from their families so that we can enjoy and cherish these special moments. Their sacrifice makes way for our joy. Sad but true. But there’s a solution too!
Is it only the soldier’s or doctor’s duty to protect us? No! so this time, let us come together and wish all our soliders, doctors and other such people a very happy Raksha Bandhan and promise to protect, respect them for lifetime! And remember they are gifting you your peace and security every single second! So lets be selfless and wish those brave and strong human beings…
A VERY HAPPY RAKSHA BANDHAN!
