Kindness never harms you, but it protects everyone around you..

Last week, I heard about 3 dogs (pets) disowned by their owners. The reason was; animals are active carriers of the Covid virus. This left me surprised! No wait, Dumbfounded!! Being a pet owner, I felt

crestfallen for those little lives who all of a sudden were thrown out of their shelter for no reason

but something hypocritical and baseless.

Since the outspread of 2 diseases: Covid and Misleading Information, not only pets but even people have lost their shelter… It is so disheartening to read such news headlines and hear such stuff in a developed country like in India. Where Doctors, paramedic workers and other frontline workers are working so hard 24x7 to save lives here, people and animals are starving with hunger and thirst. Helplessness, unemployment everywhere and when such news headlines come  to light it only adds up negativity, hopelessness, and misery is felt.

What is the real fault of those innocent creatures (animals) and why are they being punished for something they don’t even know? This is a big issue and we need to work on it. In fact, it is more important to work on cunning and selfish human mentality which finds it an easy option to blame these innocent creatures as we know they won't revolt back.

Street animals are adapted to a certain place and get adapted to a new place quickly as they are not habitual to the environment your pet gets. Whereas disowned animals or pets are habitual to each and everything or each and every person where or with whom they live. The love, care you give to your pet, gets engraved in their heart and mind as a memory forever. So when they don’t

find you around they become restless and sometimes even stop the intake of food and water.

Sometimes they are unable to sustain this shock. They are totally dependent on us and are the most loyal creatures. These animals are separated from their mother and sold to you. So ultimately you become their family and obviously who can sustain staying away from their family?

My dear readers,

next time whenever you come across such a situation where the animal has to suffer, please act wisely and sensitively or give sensitive and logical advice. Don’t disown animals, instead give them to animal adoption centers. Remember, they too have feelings, emotions and a sensitive heart. You mean the world to your pet and his life revolves around you. Those little creatures demand nothing but only need you, your love, care, and attention.

Think 100 times before you react to hypocritical and baseless things. Check the facts thoroughly before you work according to them. Your one ignored mistake can ruin lives.

 *BE SELFLESS AND NOT SELFISH…
