Rain Showers

Sun was too hot today. Supriya hurried her steps towards bus stop to pick her daughter Arrru from school bus. The moment, her daughter got down from bus. Rain started. With in few minutes, it was heavy. She tried to open umbrella. Her daughter laughed and asked mamma should we dance in rain. She was cute chubby teenager gal who started dancing cheerfully. Supriya did not stop her today. she did not run after her with Umbrella. Her smile captivated her. Her joyful gestures brought smile on Supriya face also.

After a decade she got wet in rain may be more time has lapsed.

She felt calm inside outside. These monsoons which r relieve to heat waves and everything around is lush green.

Arru likes monsoon too much.

After reaching home, she asked her mom to serve her hot onion fries and tea.

Supriya was watching rain drops flowing from her house terrace next to her window. New raindrops were also showering on the garden.

The puddles of rain jumping on them was so much fun.

It was yesterday, only when in her old house back yards they played Kokko (a kind of sport) in rainy season bare foot. The rule was not to out but the person who falls while running is out of game. The person who stayed longest is winner.

Supriya was always / most of times was winner. Her firm and light feet were like peacock who danced everywhere in rain.

She started singing her old folk song.

her daughter Arru joined. She brought her keypad. Both sang at high pitch without worrying about disturbing next-door neighbours .Rain was making noise so loud.

Every other voice was too small.

Arru saw few ice balls.

She got excited and ran to pick few.

Her mother brought her a toy bucket to collect it.

Monsoon is always close to her heart. Its season where you forget the miseries and get wet in rain showers to share joys, childhood stories, making new moments and blissful break.
