Ramnath surrendered his worries to God and soon started getting better. He did not rebuke Sagar anymore, so Sagar also treated his father respectfully as before.

In a few months time, Sagar's guilty feelings took their toll. He fell ill and was very afraid that the police might find out about him and come to arrest him Even in high fever, he kept mumbling that the police was about to catch him.

Soon he suffered from insomnia (sleeplessness). He could not sleep at night. The doctor was called in but even his medications failed to cure Sagar

One night as Sagar lay in bed Ramnath went to his room and sat beside him. Sagar made a childlike request and said, "Father, I am restless. Tell me some story to pass time." So Ramnath told Sagar the story of a fairy who went to all sad people and used to fly away with their worries and spread happiness all around the world. Then Ramnath saw that Sagar had fallen, asleep hearing the story. So he tiptoed out of the room.

As Sagar slept, he saw a dream that he was playing with butterflies just as he did when he was a child. Just then a fairy came there and stopped him. She said, "Do you see how much your father loves you? His bed-time story put you to sleep. You must respect him. Obey him and give away your black money to the poor and needy otherwise you will keep on suffering like this. Someday or the other you will surely be caught."

Next day, one of his friends came there from the city. He told Sagar that the smuggler woman who had smuggled gold biscuits, had been caught and she may reveal the names of the people who aided her. Sagar felt very frightened. Suddenly, he heard the fairy's voice saying to him, "Sagar, listen to your father's advice and do as he had said. Those who obey their elders are always happy in life."

Next morning after a lot of thinking, he talked to his father and told him about the fairy's words. Then Ramnath said, "Sagar, I think you should give all your ill-earned money to some orphanage. The orphans need that money and you can also get rid of your guilty feelings."

Sagar now believed that his father was giving good advice to him. So he gave away all his money to the orphanage. He sold his new house and moved in the village farm house. That night Sagar's friend came again and said, "Don't worry, that woman has been freed due to high connections and she did not name anyone who had helped her."

That night Sagar went to sleep without any guilt or remorse. He felt as if the fairy was by his bedside. So he mumbled, "Dear fairy, please show others the right path to virtue just as you showed me." And then Sagar slipped into a blissful sleep.

The End.
