Nerd Nadzooks-A Middle-School Diary-Entry 1

MAY 22, WEDNESDAY

Dear DIARY,

OMG! Who knew MIDDLE SCHOOL was so STRESSFUL?

First, they NEVER tell you the weight of your backpack or how many BOOKS you have! So you are completely OBLIVIOUS of the fact that you`re literally BREAKING your bones! Second, they also NEVER tell you that you`ll make lifetime rivals here, who are intent on KILLING you by BACKSTABBING your reputation and spreading brutal RUMOURS in FRONT OF YOUR FACE!!! 

SO here are 2 very good reasons why I totally hate MIDDLE SCHOOL! Ms Katrina, the librarian actually gave me a DETENTION yesterday just because I returned a book late! Like, how ABSURD is that?!! I was so mad that I actually told her off in front of the entire staff, "Listen, sister, let`s see YOU read that book in less than two months and still SURVIVE!"

Luckily, I made two very nice friends here, namely, Kelly and Emma. Kelly is from Texas and plays the guitar, with a pixie cut! Emma hails from India and loves to sing !! I guess I should introduce myself. I am Olivia, 13. I love to draw and play the piano. Well, mom is calling for lunch. See you later! I just finished my Chemistry homework, so I guess I have time to write a bit. Mom cooked us mashed potatoes and beans for lunch, which was delicious !! Sometime after dinner, Kelly texted me and Emma an invite to a birthday party. Apparently, her small brother, Mark, was born on May 25th, and she`s been helping her parents set up a SURPRISE PARTY for him. I and Emma agreed to meet her in the evening so we can plan out things and help buy decorations and stuff. Oh, and Emma & me volunteered to help set up things! I bet her mom and dad would be surprised! I am so excited! Oops, I think Elly just broke my only perfume bottle! Why was I not born an only child? 🙄 Gotta go! Bye!
