Jeeban and Daya were a very loving couple. They were very kind and generous by nature. They had a strong weakness for a street dog named 'Pogo' where they were living. The couple were used to give either some Chappati or Bread to eat Pogo twice a day. It was their daily habit.

Like every day, when the couple was keeping bread outside at night, a gentleman came to them and said, "I am staying at this front house of yours' since last six months. I have been noticing that you are putting some bread outside of your gate on a daily basis. But from today onwards; you please don't keep any bread here. The little child to whom you were giving, he is nomore alive now.... A truck coming at a highspeed hit that small boy accidentally, when he was just crossing the main road with a great joy holding the bread which was kept by you in the last night. The poor boy's life-lamp extinguished there forever."

Suddenly; Jeeban and Daya were distressed at the news of his sad demise. They looked at each other for sometime.

After a while Jeeban said, "But we had been keeping breads here in each night for the street dog Pogo only."

The gentleman told, "But that Pogo has already lost its life in a car accident four or five months ago and I know that incident very well."

Now Daya said, "But Sir......we were calling that dog uttering by its name after putting breads every night and somebody was running very happily making a sound of a dog.....exactly as a dog barks."

Again the gentleman smiled and replied, "It is not at all a big fact, all these rehearsals are only for bread and butter...Art is born only either because of the necessity of human beings or as a passion to continue the hobbies in life......here it is the matter of two pieces of bread, only to survive....."
