"Mamma Mamma help me" cried Vishu, a student of class 8, while doing his Maths homework. Mamma asked Vishu about his problem, explained to him and went into the kitchen to cook dinner. Suddenly Vishu heard some noises outside and opened the door. He saw a group of aliens rushed into his room and moved down under is the bed. Vishu got frightened at this sight. He slowly moved to his study table and noticed that one of the aliens was standing just near his study table. Its face was flat, looked like a wall. After a little while Vishu understood that these creatures were not harmful, they were in some problem. Vishu made friends with them. He learned from them that they have come on UFO and lost their way. He thought of helping them, so he took them all to the jungle where they boarded the UFO and reached a planet called Quadriland.

Here Vishu saw everyone was flat-faced bounded on four sides. There were two lanes. One was named Concave Lane and the other Convex lane. The faces of the creatures in the concave lane were heart-shaped and flat. They had one reflex angle and three acute angles. All of them were very lovely. The opposite lane was off the Convex category. Here the creatures also had a flat wall like faces but no angle was reflex.

Vishu met an alien who was the king of this Quadriland. His name was Parallelogram. He was very lovely with a lovely face that had four sides. Opposite sides were equal and parallel. He had a wife called Trapezium. She was fat and sturdy. Her face was a little different than that of the king, in the sense she had one pair of opposite sides parallel. They had three sons named the Rhombus, the Square and the Rectangle. All three sons were the reflections of their Dad, the king. They all had opposite sides equal and parallel along with their own traits like each angle was 90 degrees in the case of square and Rectangle. The diagonals bisected each other at right angles along with equal sides in the case of Rhombus. Vishu interviewed all of them and took every single detail. Meanwhile, he saw some creatures living far away from quadriland. When he inquired about them, he came to know that they are known as kites. They have a tail and also have the special quality to fly. Their every pair of adjacent sides were equal and the diagonals intersected perpendicularly.

Suddenly he heard a loud sound and realized that it was his cell phone. He gained consciousness and realized that it was a dream.

He was actually drawing a family tree of quadrilaterals given as home work. He now completed his work and went to bed.
