My visit to Delhi

I love going on vacations. I usually go to vacations in summers as I love to eat different cuisines and see historical places. We have visited many states in India but my best visit was to the capital of India- New Delhi. There are a plenty of Historical places there. I always wished going there. We visited it in winters it's known for the pleasant weather.                   

 I have fun there. We visited many historical places like the Red Fort , Jama masjid , Lotus temple , Qutub Minar and India gate. The Red Fort is made of red Sandstones , it was built by Shah Jahan.We then went to Jama masjid. A lot of people were doing Namaaz and praying to god. we also saw The Lotus temple , which is in the shape Lotus and shows our national flower Lotus. The Qutub Minar is longer then a 5 floor building. I was so surprised when I saw all the delicate carvings. The best thing I saw there was India Gate , It was remarkable for me. I haven't seen anything like that. We also saw the Amar Javan Jyoti which shows respect to our soldiers. We also visited the Taj mahal which is in Agra. We also roamed in the streets.      

                 

        This was my best trip ever. A visit to a historical city is always an exciting experience. It is a fascinating adventure. It is a city of great historical importance of its own. I enjoyed my trip to the Delhi very much. It was really an unforgettable experience which apart from being intellectually rewarding gave us a glimpse of our country's proud history.
