My Ram!

Mukesh was very happy today, he enjoyed a lot “Ram katha” at his friend’s home . He shouted “Jai Shree Ram, Jai Shree Ram, ran to and fro. Harish returned from his shop and asked for drinking water, Mukesh poured a series of questions on his father while giving him water.

"Why does only Ram’s story tell us with so much pomp and show? Why don’t other story tell us like this? I will never forget if all study process be like this."

"Papa, Ram killed Ravana then how a Killer could be a lord?"

"You told me our Ram is Ambedkar, then why don’t we organised Ambedkar’s story as grand as Ram?"

"Papa , Will we can get anything if we regularly listen Ram’s story? How can it be possible only just listening this story again and again? Papa…………."

Harish ignored these questions and moved into his room and sent Mukesh for paly. He sat on the chair although he planned for a little nap but these questions pushed his plan. He faced so many ideas and reflections in his mind but nothing could be articulated as an answer to Mukesh.

Next day Mukesh went to his school. He met his friend Aditya and discussed about last day event.

"Ram was very powerful, He fought bravely but he could be a warrior, I could not get why we treated as a GOD!" Mukesh

"He was saviour, saviour of mankind ! He finished sin from earth, killed evil and spread goodness all around." Aditya replied

"Mankind! But this story that I was heard talking about Ayodhya, Lanka more, I found it was a personal story of Ram’s life. How it can be connected with whole mankind? Has evil disappeared from our society?" – argued Mukesh

"He killed giants, Kumbhkaran, Ravana……" Aditya started reply but Mukesh interrupted him and said –

"Yes, he killed. He was hero but God should be more than a hero. He will be saviour and messenger of peace and hater of any type of violence. We can call Buddha as God!"

"Oh! Ram was actually lord Vishnu. He came on earth with a specific mission to kill evil. Buddha was just a monk." – Aditya defended.

They did not know when their teacher came and listen their conversation. As soon as they got sense that their teacher listen this communication they asked together looking for a specific answer.

Teacher replied – "Ram is an idea, everyone will have to search his Ram. Ram can be different for all of us. Ram is a way, we can move on that path and survive meaningfully. Ram we cannot find in stories, one will has to travel one’s journey, journey without doubt, doubt can mislead us. We will travel this journey together, if one stops then another should start from that point, we should start this travel as soon as possible unless Ram move beyond our horizon."

"Ram is in finding Ram, we will search and add trailblazer into this way." –Mukesh and Aditya together promised.
