My Dog Brandy

I have a cute dog called Brandy. He was born before me. He was born on May 14, 2007. He is going to be 13 years old this year. I hear from my parents that I used to trouble him a lot as a baby. I used to poke his eyes and say eyes and ears and say ears as I was learning body parts. But he never bit me and I was never scared of him. He is the gentlest and sweetest dog that I have seen. I love showing him off to my friends. My friends love to come and visit him whenever possible. I have learnt to respect animals watching Brandy grow up with me. He is like my older brother as I have no other sibling. I love him a lot. I miss him when he goes to boarding kennel. I wish I could take him everywhere with me and also wish that there were more dog-friendly places.

I love coming home and playing with him and rolling around with him. He listens to my commands so well as he is clearly understanding what I am speaking. I love watching make funny faces and roll around and stretch his legs forward to say he loves me. Every day I go to school with vibhuti on my head as well as his. If he doesn't finish his food I come back and feed him. I love feeding him and wish I could walk him too.

He is a lovely golden retriever and is about 34 kgs in weight. Sometimes I do manage to walk him for short distances as he is very polite and does not pull when I am walking him. I have learnt so much in my life from him and wish him a long life. I get scared each day thinking he is getting older and will leave us one day. In my daily prayers, I pray for his long life. I hope I get many more fun years ahead with my Big brother Brandy.
