My Black Bullet

This is not about a motorcycle. Can you guess what it is? Just read on.

It's my favourite, fat, furry, friendly and extremely mischievous Labrador. When I was 10 years old and wanted a friend, my mom got me this four-legged friend. He was small and I was big.

Today, I am 12 years old and he is two years old as a dog but he is HUGE and at times FAST and FURIOUS. At other times, he is very lazy and I like to think that he is lazier than others. On holidays, he wakes me up when I want to sleep. He barks and barks, till I cannot ignore him.

Last year, we took him to Bangalore for our vacation. He was so afraid of the new place and would hide but his big black body was visible. It was funny to watch.

He runs so fast that he gets tired and then he eats more. When my Maths tuition teacher comes home, Romeo is the first person to greet her. I know she is afraid of him but, she acts as if she does not care. He sits next to her, waiting for the biscuits my mom offers her. She gives him a biscuit hoping he will go away, but, he comes back for more.

I feed him with Pedigree and he gives the squirrels a share of his food. In return, he eats whatever fruit they knock down from the custard apple tree in the garden.

The courier agents do not like him. They call my home 'The black dog home'. My mom does not have to worry about the delivery packages. She always uses my dog Romeo as an identification.

It's very funny to see my dog racing by himself! I think he wants to join the Dog Olympics in the future!

Till that happens, my black bullet is also my horse. I can sit on his back and imagine I am riding the famous Black Beauty.

I can share a lot of his funny antics; but, I will save it for another day or night. Now, he is hungry and is trying to eat my pencil box. The black bullet is very hungry and I better stop here.

I love him very very much. Stories are true; do you believe in them? Yes, my Romeo is really a fast black bullet.
