Mona and Squirrel
Mona and Squirrel
There were many trees in Mona's garden. One of them was a mango tree. The branches of the mango tree touched the window of Mona's room. There was Mona's study table near the window.
One evening when Mona was studying in her room she saw a baby squirrel on her windowsill, Mona liked the little animal. She grabbed the baby squirrel and put it in a cage. It had brown stripes on its body and a long bushy tail.
Mona put the cage on her study table aanf gave the baby nuts to eat
Mona went downstairs to have dinner
When she came back to her room, she found mother squirrel sitting beside the cage
Mona ignored it and went to bed to sleep
Whole night the mother squirrel kept on watching her baby. She chirped time to time to confirm that her baby was or not
Next morning, Mona found the mother squirrel sleeping beside the cage.
Mona left very sorry for them.
She felt guilty.
Just then she open the cage and set the baby squirrel free.
She put put it on the branch of the mango tree.
The baby chirped to fake its mother up.
Mother squirrel looked out of the window and found her baby on one of the branches.
She climbed up the branch and hugged her baby tightly.
Mona was glad to see the mother and baby embracing each other.
