Meghalaya Diaries

It was a night in March when I was on the roof of the house. Just sitting and watching the moon. Who says this world is not beautiful; it's beautiful than anything else. This pandemic makes me a bird captured in a cage. Watching the sky I fall asleep. I could see my previous year's vacation to Meghalaya. Those days were awesome. I still remember it was the 13 march night we were at Durgapur station waiting for the train. All were excited and there was no pandemic. Everyone was happy talking with each other and preparing for the trip. On this trip I my mom and dad were there. Finally the train arrived at 11:50 pm we all hurry up and get on the train. The feeling I get while sitting in the train I can't explain that. My heart enjoys that feeling. Next month is my exam but all the tension and stress are gone.

My mother brought books for reading but while preparing for the trip I had taken out the book. The train journey started the jerking started. All people fall asleep, how they could fall asleep with a wonderful nature, they should experience it. Leave it I waited for my parents to get sleepy. It was 3 am all were in a deep sleep. I silently wake up and move the door of the train. Wow!! What a fresh air this air smells something different. Wonderful nature, suddenly my father came and quickly pull me from the door and scold me a lot. During the scolding, my mind was in the imagination of nature. It was 7 am all get wake up the tea seller asking for tea, water bottle seller selling water bottles, etc. That cup of tea in a mud cup was better than the coffee's amazing taste. Hours passed by enjoying nature we reached Meghalaya.

Awesome nature the sky was full of clouds, cold nature, and green nature, mountains, and mountains. After we reached we book a hotel room for us. I still remember the owner of the hotel had a pet rabbit that was so cute. That day we took a rest and traveled the next day. Meghalaya's sunrise was awesome but that day was my worst day. The bus driver's name was kalia he was just like a kalia. But my fortune what to say. My fortune let me sit side seat of kalia. But he was not so bad that I thought. He was good-hearted. Only his appearance was like kalia. Leave it, we reached in front of the mountain from where we can get into the cave and enjoy the beauty. Per person, the ticket was 50 RS we move to the cave it was a nice experience. When I get inside the cave I was thinking of myself like Bear Grylls. Haha that proves me wrong lol. I can't have that raw meat but can do the adventure.

The 5 min enjoyment ended. I thought it would be of 1 hour but it was of 5 minutes. Then the most boring time started…. Shopping…. As always my mom saw the market for 1 hour and does not buy anything. That's all for that day next day was awesome. We saw a lot of waterfalls and temples. That feeling of trekking and the cold weather it was just unbelievable. But sadly that day also ended the worst feeling of life. While returning I fall asleep on the train and my mom called me to wake up slowly I open my eyes found myself on the house roof and mom was calling for dinenr. Wonderful dream... It brings back the memories. While having dinner some lines stuck in my mind

Those days were awesome I will never forget those days.
