Making New Friends

Vish’s dad had got transferred to Mumbai. When Vish was told that they would be shifting in a month, he became very sad. He knew that he would have to leave his friends and school behind. He was afraid of making new friends. He somehow had this misconception that Mumbai is a fast-paced city and people don’t make friends that easily. 

All thanks to the different TV shows and movies which Vish had watched. They taught him a different Mumbai than what it actually was. 

It was then time to shift, moving away from his hometown, leaving his friends with a promise to stay in touch. Vish’s dad knew that he was nervous and didn’t really like the idea of them moving to Mumbai but he also knew that Vish needed to grow and find a way himself. Shifting to Mumbai opened a new world to Vish. He understood the importance of networking, making new friends and the essence of relationships. 

He is now a people skills trainer and teaches several kids the ways to make new friends so that they are able to adapt better.
