Madhu's Piggy Bank

Madhu gets coins and puts it into her pink piggy bank, she has been collecting coins of different values. She loves to save money as she wants to buy a barbie doll set for herself, her parents and grandparents always give her coins and she puts them onto her piggy bank.

She goes to school and when her mother gives her money to eat form canteen, she chooses to eat a simple cake and saves some coins and puts them into her piggy bank, when her mother asks her to give money as she need change, Madhu would always tell a big"No". Her mother would laugh and go. Her grandfather used to take her for a walk and then she sees him giving money and biscuits to a poor man and a kid. Madhu asks him the reason to do so,her grandfather tells that helping the needy ones bring us smile and what we give, we get the double of it.

Madhu returned home, next day on her way to school, she saw an old lady sitting with a bowl in her hand and a person giving her a coin, she returned home and broke her piggy bank and took the amount. Her mother was surprised and didn't know why she had broken her piggy bank, her mother followed her and saw Madhu going to the lady whom she had seen when she was in her bus and she gave away all the coins. The lady blesses Madhu and she had tears in eyes, Madhu saw this and she told her grandfather and he knew what impact his words had on her and he bought her a lovely barbie doll set and gave it to her. Madhu was surprised and she learned to help others always.
