This is Chapter 2/Part 2 of this story. I hope you all enjoy it.

"Kitarina..Kitarina my darling, where are you hiding?" my father's voice cut through the darkness. I scrunched my eyebrows and reached for him giggling. "I'm here daddy." He scooped down and picked me up, squeezing me tightly to his chest. I started squirming as my mother came up behind me and started to tickle me. "Noo-oh oh, no mommy, please!" I begged as we all laughed together.

I sighed as I woke with the morning sun, recalling the dream of my family before my father was called home to the side of the moon god. I stood up and dusted my pants off, looking up through the trees to the brightening sky. Smiling I wiped my hands off and started heading through the trees in the direction Mack had told me about. Noting my surroundings, I heard the trickle of a creek up ahead. I made my way closer and removed my clothing washing it in the small creek as best I could before setting them out to dry. After setting them aside, I took the bandana from around my hair and washed my face and body as best as I could. Pulling my long blonde hair around to hang in front of me, I dipped it into the creek washing the dried blood from it. Lying in the spot next to the creek, where the sun peeked through the trees, I closed my eyes for a few minutes. I opened my eyes after a moment and sat up to see a deer staring at me from the other side of the creek. Smiling I stood and retrieved my clothes, tying my hair back once again with my bandana. Bowing lowly to the beautiful buck before me I set off on my way, looking up to the sky it looked to be about 13:00 hours.

After walking for what felt like years I glanced up to the sky again, noticing the sky getting darker. "Must be about 17:00 hours now.." I looked around and found myself getting comfortable under a giant evergreen tree. Listening to the owls and crickets I slowly drifted off to sleep. I jolted awake holding my chest, gasping for air. I pulled my knees up and tried desperately not to cry at the nightmare that had just occurred. Squeezing my knees tightly to my chest I bit my lip as a few tears rolled down my face. Taking a deep breath I slammed my fist into the ground and stood up shaking my head. I started walking through the forest once again, the moon was bright in the sky so my visibility wasn't as limited as the night before. After stumbling through the forest for an hour I tripped and rolled down a hill. Lifting my head for a moment I noticed I was in a ditch by a road, pushing up off the ground I made my way towards the road. I felt my knees giving out so I sat in the ditch and pulled my knees up to my chest, setting my head on top of them I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep again. After what seemed like not nearly long enough I woke to the sounds of birds singing to the morning sun.

Standing I stretched and looked around, I suddenly realized that I must have been sleepwalking again, for I had no idea where I was. I tried to recall which direction my former pack was located, so I knew not to head that way. I decided I should continue walking in the direction I was already facing, hoping it would be the right way. I sighed looking up at the sky, realizing it was now past 4 PM, looking I decided to walk for another hour and took refuge in an evergreen.
