Independence day is the most important day in the history of India. We celebrated Independence day on 15th August every year with great joy. On this day, In India became free from British rule. Thousands of years ago, India was known as the golden bird because Indian people are very working hard and they trade with other countries. The silk, spices, jewelry, cotton, and wheat is grown in India were very popular in other countries. So Indian people have rich trade practices with other countries. They received gold in return for the goods sold. That is why India was known as the golden bird, After some time the prosperity of India attracted foreign invaders like Portuguese, Dutch, French, Mughal, and British.


These invaders plundered the riches and made India and the Indians a slave to their greed. India became enslaved. It was living in a big jail inside your own home. Thousand of brave men and women and children raised their voices to be free from these foreign invaders. Mangal Pandey, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and many more such brave people came forward and openly challenged the invaders to Leave India. Imagine staying in your own home and you can eat, sleep, read and play the way you want to. Finally, India got Independence after a long history of struggle and sacrifice on the 15th August 1947. When the last of the foreign invaders left India of the Indians, By the Indians, for the Indians our triangle Indian flag is symbolic of India's independence.
