I scream for Ice-Cream !
I scream for Ice-Cream !
(The mother is out to work and Micheal and Laura need to fend for themselves. They crave chocolate ice cream and head towards the fridge for the same.)
Laura: Ice Cream! Ice Cream! I need a big scoop! The sweet magical flavor of the yummy, brown, mouth-melting chocolate ice cream! (jumping up and down from excitement)
Micheal: (smirking) Yes, sure! Let’s have some ice cream! However, I will get the big scoop as I am the eldest Lauri! I am older than you and that too by a good two years. So, I take the call.
Laura: That’s not fair! You cannot always play the card of being the elder one. Not this time! (she replies brooding in the corner)
Micheal: Hey! If you want ice cream right now, I get the big scoop. Take it or leave it. (crossing hands)
(Laura gets extremely angry with the way her brother always bosses her around. She picks up a pillow from the sofa just a few steps away from her. She uses all her might and smashes the pillow on her big brother out of frustration.)
Micheal: What? (Screaming angrily)
(When Laura notices Micheal getting angry, she gets fearful and starts sobbing uncontrollably)
Micheal: Hey! Don’t cry! You get the big scoop. Okay?
(Laura smiles and wipes her tear-filled eyes and anticipates her big bowl of ice cream as an apology)
