Honesty

Once there lived a girl named Suma. People were so kind towards her. When they go outside everytime they would bring a gift for her. She was so happy with what she has. She was so friendly towards her. One day, while Suma was going to school she saw her friend Jyothi has been rounded up. She went and saw what is happening over there. She saw a new designer and a beautiful pen. She asked her friend Jyothi for the pen to see it. She took it and returned it. After a few moments, the bell rang and everyone formed a line for the assembly. The teacher asked Suma to bring a chalk, while she was bringing she wants to see the pen once again. Suddenly, Jyothi came with her headache. Suma was scared and kept the pen in her pocket. While Jyothi opened her bag she did not find her pen, she was crying and said the teacher that her pen is lost. The teacher asked who is in the class during assembly. Everyone pointed out Shruti. The teacher asked Shruti to return Jyothi's pen back. But Shruti is innocent. The teacher gave her one day's time to return Jyothi's pen back. Suma was scared and did not tell the truth. Next day, the teacher asked Shruti to return the pen. Suma stood up and said the matter to the teacher. The teacher appreciated Suma. The whole class applauded Suma.

Moral: Honesty is the best policy
