Tushar studied in class IX at Don Bosco School in Kolkata. He was good at studies and sports. However, he was self-centered and seldom mixed with his schoolmates.

One day his uncle who lived in the nearby town, visited his house. His uncle was a philanthropist and ran a school where poor and underprivileged children were given free education and were taught along with regular students.

Tushar asked his uncle that the latter would be suffering great losses by not taking any fees from so many students. To this, his uncle replied that real happiness comes from helping others. Real living is living for others. People will always remember a person with a good heart, who has a helping attitude and is down to earth. Like for example, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, our former President is admired and remembered as he was a people's person. He dedicated his entire life to the service of the nation. And was a very good human being with a kind heart.

That day Tushar understood that being good and helpful is important in life just as being successful is!

Now Tushar has changed. He gets along with his schoolmates and does not think twice before letting a helping hand to others in need. His friends are also happy that Tushar had changed for good and is no longer selfish and egoistic.
