Diamonds on the ears

Once, there was a lady who was very sober. Other than a basic living, she wanted nothing. Even though her husband was a rich and arrogant geezer, she was as simple as a monk. Her neighbors always questioned her that how she managed to tolerate her husband? Times like this, she simply nodded her head and went away. Then one day, she saw a boy and a girl discussing with each other about how they would adjust in just one apartment with a lot of luggage? She heard the boy say that he would adjust according to the girl. At that moment, the lady thought that she should change. She thought that she should act more like a rich person.

She should hang out with only rich people and wear branded clothes like Gucci or Armani. When she had completely changed, she sensed some arrogance entering her mind. She also sensed her friends being jealous of her. Slowly and gradually, she lost all of her true friends and just made friends with rich people. After a few years, her husband’s business saw a downfall. When the business encountered a major loss and they became poor, she started to lose all her rich friends. That was the time that she realized that her friends had used her just for her money and that her true friends were the poor yet fun friends. She realized that she was wrong and transformed back into her sober self.
