Combat With a Storm

Mito was on his way to visit his grandfather who was the leader of the village, Kuawa. Mito was going to meet his grandfather after a long time and he was very excited about this. Kuawa was situated in a valley and was surrounded by mountains on 3 sides. The fourth side was near to the water. When Mito finally reached the village he saw that everything was destroyed. The crops were uprooted and the roofs of the houses seemed as if they were forcefully pulled out. He then saw his grandfather, his grandfather was shocked on seeing him.

He came and told him that this wasn't a good time for him to come here. His grandfather then informed them that they were being harassed by a storm monster who would come every week and destroy everything. Mito then asked his grandfather to ask that monster to combat him. Mito's grandfather was speechless but he understood that his grandson was a smart fella and must have a plan to destroy him.

The next week Mito confronted the monster and asked for a battle with him. The monster was enraged and started chasing Mito. Mito started leading the monster towards the mountains and started running upwards. The monster started shouting from behind that he could not run very far and that he would kill him when he caught Mito. Suddenly the monster started disappearing and finally vanished. When asked by the villagers how it had happened he said that storms grow weaker and weaker as the altitude increases and that's how he defeated that monster. everyone was very happy and threw a feast in honour of his feat.
