Box Of Crazy Memories

Adyant: Where are you, bro? I’ve reached the college. Come soon.

Nadin (while sleeping): I’ve just left the home. I’ll be there in 10 minutes.

*after fifteen minutes*

Adyant: Where have you reached, idiot? I’m waiting for a long time. Why can’t you always show up on time?

Nadin (while bathing): Ay Ay Captain, I’m about to reach the campus. Don’t panic.

*after ten minutes*

Adyant: Enough man! I’ll kill you if don’t appear before me in ten minutes. Being punctual is out of your scope.

Nadin (while getting ready): You fool. I’m already in the parking zone. I’ll be there soon.

This continued for another twenty minutes but there wasn’t any mark of Nadin. Getting late was like a custom to him which he couldn’t tweak no matter what. When he finally reached the college, Adyant knocked him down for being late as always. It has been going on since the inception of their college life. Adyant couldn’t stop waiting for him and Nadin couldn’t reach early in his entire college life.

It was a buoyant and a jolly group with Nadin, Dani, Veera and Adyant. Everyone in the college knew their indivisible bond and the bunch of craziness they had held onto. Nadin, Dani and Adyant were never interested in the classes and would either bunk the lecture or would get kicked out of the classroom. There was no other way around. On the other hand, Veera was a bit studious girl with bubbly characters. She was made to do insane things because of them. Their favorite spot to hang out with each other would be the coolest Chai Ki Tapri which one could ever have in their college. Skipping their assignments and creating nuisance in the class was their daily drama. Such was their bond where one’s absence would disconcert even the teachers while the presence of each of them had enough potential to cause an apocalypse. They always believed in creating memories which could be cherished forever rather than sitting idle and hopelessly like a sincere child. They became the strength of each other and would raise one’s confidence in their presence. They somewhere knew that after the completion of the three years of their college there won’t be the same bond amongst each other because of the distance but they got a cure of that too by planning a long trip every year once they bid farewell to the college.

Friends cannot be lost soon if admired and safeguarded forever.

The moments they revered in the college make them look back to their box of unruffled memories even after the five years of their farewell. They have settled far away from each other but the connection is still intact. The power of friendship is strong enough to throw you back in the puddle of memories you created together no matter how much time has passed by.
