Blessings From Jaganmani

We were on our family trip. A family trip always meant, visit to pilgrimages and take blessings from different deities.

These trips are usually fun because we would get to the significance of each of them, the story associated with those beautiful temples and a feeling of how lucky we are to visit these blessed places.

Almost every temple had an elephant, a horse, a cow or a calf, to offer prayers to the lord.

Any animal offering prayers to the lord is also taken blessings from.

After taking the lord's blessings, there would be a queue to get blessed by the elephant too. Elephant would place trunk on the devotee's head as a blessing and it would be a scene of delight to the kids.

After taking to guardian of the temple animals, we came to know that the elephant's name was Jaganmani.

From that day on, she's a friend. We talk to her every day in our thoughts.
