April Fool's Day

Dear Diary,

The first of April is celebrated as the Fool's day. Every year people across the world pull pranks on their friends and family. This is quite popular among children who get a free rein for tricks on this day. As we grow older, we become more conscious about everything. This year on this day, science played a big trick on us all. The pandemic places everyone in house arrest and restricts our movement. We have become worried about our health and even life. Most people doubt if we will even survive the next year to relish the memories of April 1st. We are so advanced in our medical innovation, and yet this virus has made us question our priorities. This is one of the biggest tricks that we have experienced in our lifetime. We have forgotten about the small pranks and are wondering about life itself. This might be my last post irrespective of the day or trick.
