Anu was a tiny ant with a big heart. He lived in a small crack near the roots of a giant banyan tree. One sunny morning, Anu was exploring when he heard a soft trumpet sound. "Hoooonk!"

He scurried closer and saw a baby elephant playing near a puddle. The baby elephant was called Elly, and she was splashing water everywhere with her little trunk. Anu watched in amazement as Elly giggled.

Suddenly, Elly's trunk got stuck in a thorny bush! She tried to pull it out, but the thorns were sharp. Elly started to cry. "Hooooonk! Hooooonk!"

Anu knew he had to help. He might be small, but he was strong and clever. He quickly climbed onto a long blade of grass that was touching Elly's trunk. Carefully, Anu started to nibble at the thorns around Elly's trunk with his tiny jaws.

It took a while, but Anu was persistent. Nibble, nibble, nibble. Finally, the last thorn was cut, and Elly was free! "Hooooray!" trumpeted Elly happily, shaking her trunk.

Elly looked down and saw the tiny ant who had helped her. "Thank you, little one," she said gently, her big eyes filled with gratitude.

Anu smiled. "You're welcome, Elly!"

From that day on, Anu the ant and Elly the baby elephant became the best of friends. They went on many adventures together. Elly would carefully carry Anu on her trunk as they explored the forest, and Anu would warn Elly of any tiny dangers on their path. The big elephant and the little ant showed everyone that even the smallest creature can be the biggest hero, and that friendship can bloom between the most unlikely of friends.
