Thanks for letting us write our experience and reach wonderful readers through your blog.

We are the Joshis and we love to travel to new locations and create memories. This time in the Navratra Holidays we decided to hit the roads in Rajasthan and remove it from our bucket list.

Hence, I came across this website and communicated with Mr. Hitesh and tell them our requirements. He is an amazing person with very good knowledge of Rajasthan State. He helped us in making all arrangements for the tour.

We started our journey on the very second day of Navratra and reached Jaipur. Hitesh Sir has already arranged our pick-up from the airport and transferred us to this nice property known as “Yash Hotel” which was suited to our budget and has clean rooms for us. Post Lunch We visited the Jaipur City or Should I call it the Pink City.

The Journey

Pink City Sightseeing Tour

Jaipur is an amazing city with numerous variations of taste, colors, and ethnicities. I personally found the birds-eye view of the city from Nahargarh Fort to be most amusing and the giant canon “Jaiban” is extraordinary. During our travels, we visited forts(Amer, Jaigarh, and Nahargarh), Places(Jal Mahal, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal) and one or two different monuments.

All of them are unique and perfectly crafted. I was first amused to see the architecture of Albert Hall which was so fine and is rare in Northen India.

In the evening we left for the outskirts of the city and had our dinner at a traditional restaurant known as “Choki Dhyani”. I must say that the food at this place tastes better than many Rajasthani Cuisine Foodcourts of Bombay.

After that perfect meal, we returned to our hotel.

Sanganer’s Printing Workshop

The next day we requested the driver to take ous to someplace where we can understand the traditional printing technique of Jaipur. Hence he took us to a workshop in Sanganer. It was a fresh experience for a person like me to see how actually the World Famous Hand Block Printing textiles are manufactured. I have previously brought many bedcovers and other goods from Amazon but never have thought to visit the unit.

So I was very excited to visit the workshop and learn the technique. As we reached the workshop we were given a tour of the Sanganer’s Jain Temple first and then we entered the factory compound.

The factory was blooming with the smell of colors and freshly printed textiles. It was a different landscape to witness. Many people were working on the stone tables – embarking their manual labor to the creating of beautiful designs.

In the aftermath, I ended up purchasing many many many goodies from the out-showroom of the workshop. I literally loved the quality of these goods. Then we left for Ranthambore.

Ranthambore National Park

After visiting all the sites of the pink city we traveled to the Ranthambore, which is situated in the Swai Madhopur District of Rajasthan. We have to pre-book the safari at the site – So please be cautious about timing. Although it’s wonderful to see wildlife and visit the forest area. But I was personally disappointed with the standards of service by the staff here. They are not so friendly with a lot of tourists.

We personally decided to just let the Safari end and relax at our resort. We had booked an amazing resort in the Ranthambore with the surrounding Jungle area.
